How to Rent a Party Bus
To rent a party bus you need four things: your date, your confirmed headcount, the hours you want it, and your pickup address. With those, any legitimate company can give you a firm all-in total on the first call.

Final numbers land below what organisers expect. Size the bus on people who've actually committed.
Add up your hours, then add one
Extending on the night depends on the vehicle being free afterward. On a Saturday it often isn't.
Ask for the all-in total
Not the hourly rate. One number, with gratuity and fuel already in it.
Check the company
USDOT number, state motor carrier registration, certificate of insurance. All public, all free, five minutes.
Pay the deposit
A quote is a price, not a reservation. Nothing is held until money moves.

How far in advance should I book?
Three to four weeks for a standard weekend. Two to three months for peak dates — in Austin that means ACL, SXSW, Formula 1, UT home games, May graduations and New Year's Eve, when the whole market sells out.
Can we drink on board?
Yes, for guests 21 and over. Coolers and ice are included. Bookings involving under-21s run alcohol-free by arrangement.
How many hours do we need?
Four to six for a night out, five to seven for a brewery run, six to eight for a lake day, six to ten for wine country. Add one more than you think.
Is a bigger bus more expensive?
Per hour, yes. Per person, usually not — the 20 and 30 passenger share a rate, so sizing up costs nothing and gives everyone room.
