Here's the honest version of an Austin party bus rental sale: the discount isn't a promotion, it's the calendar. Weekdays and daytime runs cost less than Saturday nights, and in summer that gap is where lake groups save real money.

Where the Actual Savings Are
Most party bus companies advertise a sale that's really just their normal rate with a countdown timer on it. We'd rather show you the pricing structure and let you find the cheap slot yourself.

On a six-hour lake day that difference is real money. Six hours at $150 is $900 versus $1,050 at the Saturday rate — $150 saved before gratuity, or about $10 a head on a fifteen-person group.
And here's the part that actually matters: a Thursday at the lake is a better day than a Saturday at the lake. Fewer boats, open dock space, and you can get a table at the Oasis without waiting ninety minutes for it.
Lake Travis Shuttles
Lake Travis is thirty to fifty minutes out depending on which end you're headed to, and the roads out there are exactly the kind you don't want anyone driving after a day on the water.
Most groups are doing one of three things. Meeting a rented boat at a marina and getting dropped off. Spending the afternoon at Devil's Cove and needing a ride back. Or doing a sunset dinner at the Oasis and skipping the parking situation entirely.

The bus stays cold the whole time. Coolers and ice are included, which on a 102-degree August afternoon is not a small detail.
Lake Austin Shuttles
Lake Austin is the closer, calmer one — fifteen to twenty-five minutes from downtown, no-wake in most stretches, and the whole thing feels less like a production than Travis does.
It's the better call for a group that wants a half-day rather than a full one, or for anyone bringing people who'd rather eat lunch on a deck than spend six hours in the sun.

A half-day Lake Austin run at the off-peak rate is one of the cheapest group days we do. Four hours, fifteen people, lunch on the water, everyone home by five.
Summer Holidays: Book, Don't Bargain
This is the part where we tell you something against our own interest. There is no summer holiday sale, from us or from anyone honest, and if a company is advertising one you should ask what the regular price actually is.
Three weekends a summer account for most of the lake demand in Central Texas:
Memorial Day weekend — the season opener, books out first
Fourth of July — the single busiest lake day of the year
Labor Day weekend — last call, nearly as busy as Memorial Day
Every bus in the city is spoken for on those three. Book six to eight weeks out minimum, and for the Fourth think two to three months. Waiting for a deal on those dates means waiting your way out of having a bus at all.
If your group is flexible, the actual move is obvious: go the Thursday before Memorial Day instead of the Saturday of it. Same lake, off-peak rate, and roughly a third of the boat traffic.

Hourly, four-hour minimum, 20% gratuity to your driver. No fuel surcharge, no cleaning fee, no per-stop charge.

Lake Day Advice Nobody Gives You
Leave by 9am in July and August. By noon the marina lots are full and the ramps back up. An early start is worth more than any discount.
Water, and more than you think. Central Texas heat plus a day of drinking ends lake days early. Fill one cooler with water and don't negotiate about it.
Book the ride home longer than the day. Groups consistently underestimate how long they'll stay. Build in the extra hour up front — extending on a Saturday often isn't possible.
Coordinate the boat before the bus. Boat availability is tighter than bus availability on summer weekends. Lock the boat, then call us with the marina and the time.
Towels and a trash bag. Fifteen wet people and a bus is a situation. Nobody thinks about it until the ride home.

How much is a lake shuttle to Lake Travis?
Same hourly rates as any booking. A seven-hour Saturday for twenty-two people runs about $1,470 total, or roughly $67 each. A four-hour weekday Lake Austin run for fifteen is about $720, or $48 each.
Do you provide the boat?
No — we handle ground transportation. We drop your group at the marina and pick you back up. Book the boat first, then call us with the marina and the times.
How far ahead should we book for a summer holiday?
Six to eight weeks for Memorial Day and Labor Day. Two to three months for the Fourth of July, which is the busiest lake day of the year in Central Texas.
Can we drink on the way to the lake?
Yes, provided everyone on board is 21 or older. Coolers, ice and cups are included. Texas open container law applies to the driver's area only, and our chauffeurs are commercially licensed.
